Mayur qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978 and has been in practice for over 35 years following in the footsteps of generations of accountants in his family with great pride and joy. His grandfather started in 1939 and has set the standard that he follows.
During his time in practice, Mayur has gained substantial experience not only as an Accountant but also as a business advisor.
“It pleases me to provide help and support to my clients – by bringing vast experience on any financial situation – with a calm approach, and mature thinking.”
Mayur’s philosophy is, accountancy is not all about money and tax, it goes beyond that. Maintaining clients’ trust, respecting their needs and above all delivering the service they require on a dedicated basis is of paramount importance to him.
Rachel worked with Mayur for seven years prior to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and became a partner in the practice in 1995. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2009.
With her excellent organisational skills Rachel has an expertise in audit and is MCT Partnership’s Audit Compliance partner. She heads up the firm’s Audit Department ensuring that all audits undertaken are of an exceptionally high standard.
She also specialises in providing advice to businesses on the daily challenges they meet. This is offered to clients by way of face to face meetings and friendly straight-talking telephone support to tackle any business issues head on as and when they arise. ‘I enjoy the people side of accountancy and recognise the importance of
being close to clients to fully understand their needs and aims’.
Rachel has a special interest in charities and not-for-profit organisations. She assists them in carrying out their external audits, often attending Trustee meetings and providing specialist advice out of working hours to ‘give back’ to those less fortunate.
